FEW stands for Federally Employed Women. FEW is a grass-roots organization. Membership is open to all Federal Employees, Contractors and members of the community.
FEW recognizes that we must provide more than just training to individuals who are truly interested in advancing their careers. We must also work toward the elimination of all sex discrimination and enhance the potential of all women employed by the Federal Government. This requires active participation in the legislative process and we in FEW take pride in our efforts to identify to the United States Congress the needs and concerns of working women.
FEW does this by:

Monitoring the current legislative proposals;

Maintaining continuing communication with both the members of Congress and the Administration;

Developing strong networks at every level of the organization: national, regional, and chapter;

Joining forces in our lobbying efforts with other organizations that have similar goals.
